Gi Gi Horrell
What a joy and privilege owning Pearland and Fort Bend Jazzercise and working with a fabulous team of instructors and class managers. Dance has always been a part of my life whether it was dance class as a child through high school drill team and cheerleader to the best ever … the “dance” of life with my husband and my 4 grown children. I was introduced to Jazzercise soon after moving to Texas over 15 years ago. The rest is history. Many people played a part in shaping my Jazzercise career, each leaving an imprint by which my teaching technique and philosophy shape each class. You can find me teaching classes at both locations along with Personal Touch at the Pearland and Fort Bend Centers. Come experience “fresh moves, new music, and the pure motivation” of Jazzercise! |
Joy Smith
Joy Smith has been part of the dance fitness industry for nearly 20 years, 12 of it as a Jazzercise instructor. She shares her life with her husband and four children in Rosharon, Texas. |
Michelle Kirk
I became a Jazzercise student in January 2002 at 26 years old and 200 pounds. I was instantly "hooked" by the dancing and the socializing. All of a sudden, I had a whole new group of friends. Well, over time, as my friendships grew, my waistline shrank. What a great trade-off! After 4 years of being a student, I became an instructor in early 2006. Usually, I tell people that decision was based on wanting to share my weight-loss experience and my love for Jazzercise, but really...where else do you get a microphone and a captive audience to serenade on a regular basis? |
Karen Offner
Karen is a Sugar Land native who discovered Jazzercise in February of 2006. She was recruited to join the teaching team a few months later...and the rest is history. Although fairly new to Jazzercise, Karen spent much of her life dancing or exercising in some form. Karen graduated from Texas A&M in 1998 with a degree in Information Systems. She worked in the IT world until having her daughter Veronica in 2004. She has been married to her husband Mike since 2000 and feels blessed every day. Find her teaching at Fort Bend Jazzercise Mondays and Fridays at 8:15 a.m. |
Keri Oujesky
A friend of mine introduced me to Jazzercise in 1995 while I was in college. Being a dancer all my life, Jazzercise was the first time I actually enjoyed working out and I quickly became a fan and babysitter for others while they Jazzercised – I was up at that center a lot! When I married my husband and moved to Pearland, I found Jazzercise again. I thought it was amazing that the same fun workout that I enjoyed in Austin was here in Pearland, too, always with up-to-date music and new choreography. I became certified in July 2006 and very much enjoy teaching classes. I also love working part-time with Gi Gi in marketing for Pearland and Fort Bend Jazzercise. |
Kandice Harris
I fell in love with Jazzercise shortly after moving to Texas in 2004. It took "just one class" and I was totally hooked! I have been teaching since 2007. I offer an intense and upbeat class with an emphasis on a "party" atmosphere. My passion for Jazzercise is contagious! I hope to see you in my class soon! |
Tiersa Miller
Always the athlete and never the cheerleader, Tiersa Miller is now able to lead others on stage and help them reach their various health and fitness goals. At the age of 30, she decided to become an instructor with the #1 fitness program...Jazzercise! She has been a member since June 2006 and recently became a certified instructor in June 2007. The innovative moves and cool music that Jazzercise brings has helped her get fit and meet great friends along the way. |
Jazzercise has been a big part of my life for 14 years. I began taking Jazzercise classes in Tucson, Arizona, in 1981 after the birth of my son. Four years later I had my daughter. They are both Jazzerbabies. In July of 1993, I became an Instructor. I began teaching classes at the Vineyard Jazzercise Center for Donna Gore Freiburger in Austin. Jazzercise has brought me so many wonderful friends. Jazzercise has truly been a blessing for me. |

Tiffany Wallace
Tiffany was born and raised in Missouri City. She started dancing at the age of 6 and fell in love with it. At that point, she knew that no matter what she did in life, dancing had to be a part of it. Tiffany was captain of her dance team in high school. In her senior year, she was chosen to represent her school at the Texas Dance and Drill Team Workshop. Tiffany attended Texas Southern University and was the only freshman on the dance team. While attending TSU, she was part of the TSU dance company, Tigress Sensation Hip Hop dance team, and Motion Majorette dance line. In 2003, she was asked to be the choreographer of her former danceline. After TSU, Tiffany has danced with Second Generation modern dance company, been a cheerleader for the Houston Aeros hockey team and served as a cheerleader for the Houston Energy women's football team. Currently Tiffany is a professional dancer for the WNBA Houston Comets. You will love Tiffany's class! |
